a very special photoshoot...

If you have been following me for a while, you can probably guess why I titled this "a very special photoshoot." These adorable kiddos in these pics are my sweet nieces and my handsome nephew. This summer my brother Shane and his wife Katie asked me to photograph their family with their newest addition, Lily Mae. Fun fact: Shane and Katie were my first clients to ask me to take photos for them, even before I knew what I was doing. I took their engagement photos back in 2017, several family photos which each new addition to their family. I can't tell you how much I loved hanging out with them at my parents' house during this shoot. Katie dressed everyone up and we went tromping through my parent's cow fields looking for spots to take pictures. The kids (and my brother) were extremely comfortable which made the photos as authentic as it could get. It was a time of laughter and quality family time for everyone. The best thing about this shoot was Shane and Katie's attitude to their kids being kids. We took lots of silly photos, organizing the chaos of trying to get four kids to sit long enough for a photo. The photos speak for themselves. I loved this shoot, and it will always be one I look back on with fond memories, just like the previous photo shoots I've done for this beautiful family.
